Apple adds 8 Mac models to its ‘antique’ list

The new Mac product list includes MacBook (12 inches, early 2016), MacBook Air (13 inches, early 2015), MacBook Pro (13 inches, early 2015), MacBook Pro (13 inches). 2016, two Thunderbolt ports), MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, four Thunderbolt), MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016), iMac (21.5-inch, late 2015) and iMac (27-inch, Retina 5K, end 2015 ).

Putting Mac models on the Classic list doesn’t mean users lose their right to use them. In fact, even five years after release, Apple’s Mac models still receive consistent performance reviews.

This is only a repair in the event of a problem with the machine, and while the shop can repair it, it is not guaranteed as it depends on the parts in stock. Users can perform repairs at an outside store or, if possible, buy a new Mac or Windows computer with more modern technology.

The last time Apple added its device to the classic list was in May 2022, when the company added the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 2. Before that, Apple officially stopped selling these products in May 2017.
