Apple stops making iPod Touch

according to Android Authority, in its more than 20 years of operation, there have been periods when Apple produced several different iPod models that were phased out due to the iPhone’s popularity affecting sales. The iPod Touch was the last device in Apple’s iPod portfolio, and now Apple has discontinued it, ending more than 20 years of iPod history. Apple revolutionized the digital music player with the introduction of the first iPod in 2001. The iPod’s simple interface and large capacity shook the market and immediately made Apple the market leader. As the iPhone’s popularity and storage capacity increased, most customers no longer needed to carry a dedicated music player, which eventually led to the demise of the iPod.

In its heyday, the iPod contributed to Apple’s “halo effect,” in which consumers would buy the company’s cheap products and then gradually invest in more products and services, more services, and eventually realize Apple’s A full transition of the ecosystem.
