The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications is a national system that trains, develops, assesses and certifies skills for the workforce.
If you are a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, you can be eligible for funding.
SkillsFuture Singapore and Workforce Singapore award the certifications.
Quality assurance is one of the key features of the courses. There are no academic pre-requisites for entry into the courses.
The MySkillsFuture portal has access to the e-Certs. Click on certificates after logging in to the MySkills Future portal. Upon logging in to the MySkillsFuture portal via Singpass, the course admin role can be used to access the e-Certs.
The false sense of having a use-it-for-everything qualification is often given by the WSQ. The framework it is based on is different from an academic degree. It is good for regulated work.
Workers in Singapore can apply for a cash award of $200 or $1,000 if they achieve a full qualification. You can link your NRIC to PayNow if you’re eligible for the award.

What is the difference between the two? The national competency guidelines and standards are used to develop the courses. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Statement of Attainment. There is no formal assessment for non-WSQ courses.
