A continuous signal is an analog signal. A digital signal is a signal that carries data. The wave’s behavior is described by the analog signals.
Time is viewed as a variable that is unchanging throughout the non-zero region of time.
The difference between the two finite values on the other side of the signal means it is either a digital signal or a time signal.
The values of 0 and 1 are what a digital signal can have. Digital signals can be continuous in time. The data exists at specific values. A sample of an A/D signal is converted to a signal of a different type.
You don’t get confused with the continuous-time signal and the analog signal if you only have values at the intervals. Any finite values on the y- axis can be taken by the analog signal.
There are two types of signals in a signal. We will take samples at different times during the day, but they will not be continuous. The signal is not continuous.
